Duties of the MDO Masked Defenders Officers
- As officers of the Masked Defenders, you are mainly responsible for bringing in new recruits. This does not mean we expect you to stop what you are doing and campaign constanly. We simply ask that every so often you do a /ooc or a /shout (or both because some people turn off their /ooc or /shout filters). Preferably do this at least once every time you are on, more if you want our guild to grow and prosper.
- In this shout or out of character statement, simply use this phrase, or variations there of:
- "the Masked Defenders are recruiting: anti PK : under lvl 30 : PST "
You are then to question the people who respond about their stance (anti PK, PK, neutral, Mercenaries and so on) to make sure they are decent people and not a spy slipping in our organization. You will also need to instruct them to:
1) Either read the /guildmotd and follow the instructions, OR, go to our guild site and post their character information and sponsor on the petitions message board. (the /guildmotd will give these same instructions and will always list the web site address; the only time the MOTD will not be there is after a patch, patches erase all MOTDs and town message boards)
2) to thoroughly read our CoC page on the site at their nearst convienience.

- Also, as officers, you will have access to the Officers chat channel. This password is not to be given to anyone obviously. Any other officers who have lost or forgotten it must obtain it from the guild leader. However, you may still invite them into the channel, but do not give the password out. You are also required to be fairly familiar with the Guild CoC.

MDHC Masked Defenders High Council Officers
- As High Council Officer, you may if you wish recruit at any time as well, but are not required or expected to. The role of the HC is mainly to over see and resolve any issues that may arise. All HC Officers are to know the CoC well enough to question people about it and upholding it.
- Advisor:Elected: 1 Chair: Second in command. May ensue many obligations of other chairs, and assist in keeping things running smoothly. This person bears a fair amount of responsibility. Role same as an American Vice President. May appear as representitive in alliance treaty talks with other Anti-PK guilds.
- Deputies: Appointed: 2 Chairs: Upholders of security; Detecting spies, or sabotage; Protecting the Queen when pheasable. May appear as representative in alliance treaty talks with other Anti-PK guilds.
- Lords: Elected: 3 Chairs: Overseers of populous, Organizers of Events, Political Diplomats when necesary. May appear as representative in alliance treaty talks with other Anti-PK guilds.
Commanding General: Appointed: 1 Chair
- Generals: Elected: 5 Chairs: MUST be good battle commanders; abilities in battle tactics, leading groups into and out of battle, and good at getting ppl to follow orders with out alienation.


Elections every 6 months. Begining in January, ending on February 2nd, and Begining in June and ending on July 3rd. Enagural celebrations will ensue on the nearst agreeable date.
Any High Court Officer may announce and hold a guild event. Raids must go through the Council approval if political, ie: on another guild. Only High Council may post the Guild MotD.
